Wendy Rodwell is a character in Neighbours who is the wife of Andrew and the mother of Sadie. She first appeared in Episode 8747 - 2 December 2021. She is played by Candice Leask.

2021[]
Wendy's first appearance is at the Erinsborough Police Ball, where she is seen arm and arm with her husband, Andrew. She inadvertently insults Levi and Amy's polyamorous relationship. After realising this, she swiftly apologises for the misunderstanding.
2022[]
She then reappears months later, where she is befriend by Roxy, who is hoping to get some private police info from Wendy to find out more about Freya and her mysterious past. Wendy is later seen comforting Sadie in the aftermath of the fire-starting scandal. The Rodwell's decide to buy No. 26, but face backlash from some of the residents due to Sadie's criminal behaviour, especially when Hendrix is diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, despite this, Wendy still tries to her best to befriend the neighbours.
Wendy does all she can to make Sadie feel more comfortable and to try and get her back into Erinsborough High (after she was previously suspended). Upon Hendrix's death, Wendy consoles Sadie, who takes the brunt of the blame from his mother.
After time has passed, Wendy and Sadie attend Toadie and Mel's engagement party, where she accidentally drops the Ramsay Street history book into ice water, damaging the contents. Shortly after this, Andrew and Wendy decide to sell-up and move out of Ramsay Street, with the help of Paige, one of many potential exits from the street. However, they soon change their mind and are seen at the wedding and later, the big celebratory reception on the street.
2023-[]
It's been two years since the wedding and Wendy still manages The Waterhole. She is close friends with Susan and admires her for her variety of powerful career choices and also wants to make big changes of her own. When a Building Manager jobs comes up for Lassiters, she jumps at the opportunity thanks to some helpful advice from Andrew and interviews with Paul and Reece for the position. When she can't find her watch, Sadie tells her that she found JJ in their home earlier in the day and immediately thinks it was him that stole it, leading to a confrontation on the street with his mothers. To make things worse, Cara announces that she got the Building Manager job Wendy had wanted. Shortly after, Wendy finds the missing watch. Angered by losing out on the job, she looks into Cara's past and finds things don't add up on her application form, she contacts Cara's previous employer who begins asking questions about her. Cara's former employees send a warning to the Varga-Murphy's and send a envelope suspected to be poisoned with anthrax. Wendy, feeling guilty, defies the danger and stays with Remi, putting herself at risk just to be there for her. The ambulance arrives and discover it wasn't poison.
Wendy confesses to the Varga-Murphys about her watch and to Andrew, and they get into an argument. They soon patch things up and Wendy reveals her deep insecurities about not having a dedicated career like the other women on the street. It all comes to blows when Wendy yells at Sadie, who has decided to forego university and instead, pursue a career as a make-up artist. Andrew gives Wendy a reality check and she realises that she is projecting her own life choices onto Sadie. The pair reconcile and Wendy gives Sadie her blessing and decides to enrol at University herself.
