Trevor (dog)

Trevor is the loyal dog originally belonging to Haz Devkar.

Backstory[]

Trevor lives with Haz and suffers from anxiety. Trevor hates being apart from Haz and even insists on going to work at Harold's Cafe with him but must keep it a secret due to health and safety. However, his secret is almost found out when customers keep finding dog hairs in their coffee. Mackenzie offers to work from home more so that she can care for Trevor.

Soon, Haz strikes up a new relationship with a woman online, Billie. One night, she comes down to the kitchen and lets Trevor out into the garden to use the bathroom but instead of waiting for him to return, she goes back to sleep and locks him out all night. When Haz finds out he breaks up with Billie immediately and feels bad for what happened to Trevor.

Sometime later, Trevor is out on a walk with Byron when he meets a woman, Alyssa, in the park who starts to call him "Bodhi" and recognises him as her own dog who went missing. She even describes a birth mark Trevor had on his ear. Byron takes this information to Haz, who instantly shuts down her claims and in order to keep Trevor safe from her, keeps him indoors and only takes him out for walks at night. He even ignores Alyssa's multiple calls.

Mackenzie ends up giving Haz a talk about his behaviour and that he needs to do the right thing. Even though Haz rescued Trevor from the shelter, his original owners deserve to have him back. Haz and Mackenzie meet up with Alyssa and her young son, who is thrilled to have Bodhi back in his life and he thanks Haz for keeping him safe.

Haz says a tearful goodbye to Trevor and watches him leave to be with his original family again. Just a day after Haz said goodbye, Trevor runs away from Alyssa again and finds his way back to no. 32. As excited as Haz is, he asks Byron to call Alyssa and tell her to come collect Trevor.
