Roy MacDoon was an unseen character in Neighbours and the second cousin of Harold Bishop. Roy's paternal grandfather and Harold's maternal grandfather were brothers.
Biography[]
Roy MacDoon was born in about 1935 in British Columbia, Canada. His grandfather had emigrated from Scotland to Canada in about 1900. His grandfather's brother had emigrated to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in about 1915 and had a daughter Miss MacDoon born in about 1920. She had a son Harold Bishop in 1939.
In 1989, upon the death of Alastair MacDoon, the other sibling of Roy's grandfather and also The Earl Of Doon, Roy's Australian second cousin Harold Bishop thought he was the only heir to the title of the Earl Of Doon. But to his sadness Harold found that Roy was the heir as his grandfather was older than Harold's grandfather. Harold was therefore inavlid from claiming the title of The Earl Of Doon, saving them the trouble of moving to Scotland to Castle Doon, Harold's ancestral home.
As of 2014 it is not known if Roy is still alive or whether he ever moved to his ancestral castle in the Scottish Highlands.
