Robbo Slade

Robbo Slade (played by Aaron Jakubenko) is a criminal who was previously the accomplice of Mason Turner.

2013[]

When a burglary goes wrong, Robbo flees and leaves Mason to take the fall. When Mason leaves juvenile detection, Robbo follows his family to Erinsborough to get the money he is owed from the robbery. It is later revealed that he was in a relationship with Amber Turner, but she breaks up with him after learning of his criminal history with Mason.

Robbo attempts to rob Lassiter's during Toadie and Sonya's wedding with Mason, as a means to finally get Robbo out of their lives. However, they are caught by Sonya before and Robbo flees the scene. Mason confesses to everything when he is eventually caught out by the police and Robbo leaves Erinsborough to evade the cops.

He returns and is immediately given up to the police by Mason and Amber. He is facing charges and tells Amber he wants her back, but gets in a fight with Mason after taunting him about it. He later finds out Sonya is the key witness in the case and he threatens her to keep quiet. Robbo is questioned by the police but is let go without evidence. Paul, in order to help Mason, organises a rigged card game in which he tricks Robbo into wracking up $5,000 in debt, to which Paul says that he will wipe it clear if he let's Mason off the hook for the money he owes him.

Amber gives in to Robbo after she thinks he's going to turn himself in and they sleep together. The next morning Amber walks him to the police station but he runs off as soon as she leaves. Mason confronts him and Robbo reveals he has secretly recorded him and Amber having sex and will release the footage unless he gives him $10,000.

Robbo starts a gambling ring and actively tempts Lucas into joining, breaking his hard-work kicking the habit. While at a university event celebrating father's, Robbo arrives to intimidate Sonya and slips something in her drink before leaving (which is later mistakenly drank by Toadie). Later that evening, Robbo is the victim of a hit and run by an unknown driver and ends up in hospital with multiple organ damage. He is comatose from the incident and eventually wakes up under Georgia's care, saying "Mason did..." before succumbing to his injuries and dying.

It is eventually revealed that Robbo encountered several people on the night of the father's event. He got into a fight with Josh, was confronted by Lucas for the rigging the poker ring followed by a drugged Toadie, he propositioned Amber and received the pay-out from Chris. However, he encountered Hudson and taunted him which caused him to snap and run over Robbo with Imogen's car that was abandoned by Amber.

Imogen walked by and found him injured on the street and called the ambulance.
