Remi Varga-Murphy (nee Obasi, previously Varga) is a character in Neighbours who first appeared in Episode 8904 - 18 September 2023. She is the wife of Cara and the mother of JJ and Dex. She is played by Naomi Rukavina.
Backstory[]
Remi lived in Werribee with her wife, Cara and their sons. Her wife got a job working construction on a stadium headed by the Linwell brothers. However, when she realised they were corrupt, Cara reported them and had to flee their home due to multiple threats.
2023-[]
Remi and her family arrive on Ramsay Street where they temporarily stay at Jane's house while she is away and they await their new home, which is set to be built by Remi's wife Cara. However, Remi secretly doesn't want Cara to build their home and instead, wants to move somewhere that's already completed and this is revealed when Dex asks them to speak honestly. They decide to buy Toadie's house and quickly make an offer, but soon find themselves clashing with their new neighbours as Wendy accuses JJ of stealing her watch. Remi, while at the cafe, notices Harold accidentally mixing his medication and potentially solves the mystery of his memory loss.
