Reece Sinclair

Reece Sinclair is an American business woman and a new arrival to Erinsborough, who is there under mysterious circumstances. She is one of the new characters in the 2023 revival by Amazon Freevee, played by Mischa Barton.

Reece Peters appears as a hotel guest at Lassiter's who is staying for a work conference and has a secret affair with Byron Stone, who wants to know more about her. After one of their encounters, he finds documents in her room and discovers who she really is. She also often clashes with Holly, who exhibits rude behavior and even goes through her things in her room one afternoon which Reece discovers and her true identity as Reece Sinclair, the daughter of Lassiter's new silent partner, is revealed. She has been arrived to sneakily inspect the hotel and take stock for her father's investment.

Paul scrambles to try and keep the hotel in good order while Reece scrutinises it at every turn. She tries to get back with Byron, who has broken up with her due to complications over her involvement with the hotel. Paul tries to get Reece to leave by secretly plotting to involve her father, but she's been informed of this by Byron who has been feeding her info whey reignite their relationship. Meanwhile, Reece has been texting her father, who wants her to stay and keep her true intentions a secret. Paul discovers their encounters when looking at the elevator CCTV and he tells Reece about his history as an escort. She feels he's been playing her the whole time and breaks it off with him using a handful of cash. They reconcile after he makes a public display of love for her and start their relationship again, this time more seriously as he tells her he loves her and introduces her to his mother, Jane.

Reece glances at a moon necklace in the lost-and-found at Lassiters and later scrambles to try and find it. She eventually finds it at the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation and compares it to the one she wears (a sun), it's a perfect pair. Byron becomes suspicious and confronts her and she confesses that she came to Erinsborough to locate her missing half-sister, Krista at the request of her father. Her search continues with the help of Byron and together they track down Krista's missing car and clues to what she may have been up to during her time in Australia.

It is later revealed that Melanie was the housekeeper for the Sinclair family in the UK and spent a lot of time with Krista. After Krista got involved in drugs she fled to Australia and tracked down Melanie to blackmail her for more money under the influence of her toxic boyfriend Eden. In a confrontation, Melanie thought she had killed her but Eden had taken Krista away and into hiding with a payout for Paul to keep quiet.

Krista is found safe and sound but still addicted to drugs. She is in hospital and initially refuses to see Reece due to feeling ashamed but is later convinced by Holly to see her. Reece and Krista bond and she promises to help her get clean with rehab. Suddenly, Reece gets the news that Conrad has fallen seriously ill and she must return to the UK to deal with the business affairs.

She says her goodbyes to Krista, who will remain in Erinsborough for treatment. As she leaves, she thinks about her times with Byron and they say their goodbyes. Despite promising to return soon for Byron, Reece hints to Chloe that she may not come back.
