2006 was Neighbours 22nd year in production.
A new year brought another new version of the title sequence and a very slightly remixed version of the same closing theme debuted.
This meant that for over a year between 2006–2007 there were three different edits of the closing theme tune being broadcast around the world as well as three different closing credits designs to accompany them.
