Biography[]
Backstory[]
1993-1995[]
Mark Gottlieb arrived in Erinsborough in August 1993. He began dating Annalise Hartman. Their romance was a whirlwind one and he once described it as "WW1, WW2 and WW3 all rolled into one". Slight exaggeration perhaps, but a rollercoaster. One time Mark caught religion and as he owned the cafe at The Lassiters Complex he renamed it "The Holy Roll". He cheated death 3 times, he fell off the roof of No 22 Ramsay Street, fell over while cooking when using a bread knife and the knife narrowly missing him, and being accidentally run over when trying to stop Hannah Martin from being run over. Mark was ready to marry Annalise but their wedding never went through.
In November 1995, Mark left Erinsborough to be a TV chef in Brisbane.
2020[]
Mark returned to Erinsborough in late February 2020, after 25 years away. He rekindled his romance with Lucy Robinson and they married shortly after.
