John "Greeny" Green was a minor character who appeared in 1986 as a disgruntled teenager customer who threatened to write a story for the school newspaper to have the Coffee Shop closed down due to Eileen Clarke's overbearing attitude to the younger customers while looking after the premises when Daphne Clarke was away. John was played by Bruce Stadus.
