Harri "Haz" Devkar was a character in Neighbours, the former owner of Trevor and housemate of Mackenzie Hargreaves, Byron Stone, and Krista Sinclair. He first appeared in Episode 8904 - 18 September 2023. He was played by Shiv Palekar.
Backstory[]
Haz was born and raised by Indian parents. He is the older brother to Amira Devkar and an unseen brother.

2023-2024[]
Haz moves in with Mackenzie and Byron along with his rescue dog Trevor for 3 months. He has taken over as manager of Harold's café. He accompanies Toadie and Terese's wedding with Mackenzie and calls it a "date" which causes her to feel uncomfortable as she doesn't feel she's ready to move on from Hendrix's death two years prior. However, Sadie pushes Haz to try and ask Mackenzie out on an official date. When Haz thinks she's not interested, he hooks up with a woman on a dating app, which Mackenzie sees and he is confronted by Sadie.
At the same time, Haz tries to deal with Trevor's anxiety and has to take him to work with him, but in secret due to health and safety regulations. He's nearly found out when several customers complain about hairs in their coffee. His hook-up date turns into something more serious as he spends more and more time with Billie, but he still has feelings for Mackenzie.
