Backstory[]
Gino was born as plain old “Ray Murphy” but changed his name when he was older, building up his good reputation. Gino later became a hairdresser.
2000-2007[]
Gino was a well-known character in the early-mid 2000s as he was a salon owner who at first didn’t see eye to eye with Lyn Scully, but the two eventually got there in the end. Gino managed to befriend Lou Carpenter and Harold Bishop. He brought some drama into their friendship when Harold was jealous of their friendship.
2024-[]
Gino returned in 2024 as the newest resident of Eirini Rising. Gino reunited with his good old friend Harold who also lived at Eirini. Gino made a brief mention of Lyn Scully (played by the now late Janet Andrewartha) to Susan Kennedy, saying that she was doing well.
