Synopsis[]
At No 24 Ramsay Street, Scott Robinson and Henry Ramsay are watching TV but Charlene Robinson wants them to help clean up. Beverley Marshall comes to see Helen Daniels about how depressed Jim Robinson seems to be. She says she is supposed to be the doctor but does not know what to do. She wants Helen to chat to him. Lucy Robinson says to her dad Jim that she lost her calculator. Jim is angry, and says it will be the last she will have for a while. Jim then apologises. At No 22 Ramsay Street, Paul Robinson and Gail Robinson are having dinner when Rob Lewis visits. Rob is upset that Gail is the only one who dislikes Gloria. He says she has looked down her nose at her. He tells her not to make him choose. Rob says Gloria is fun but does not judge. Paul says they have his vote. Gail apologises. Gail says she will make it up to Gloria. Sally Wells is kissed by Henry. Sally says she cares for Henry but is not in love with him. Scott sees an accounts job he may go for. Melanie Pearson visits Helen and Sally. Helen says Melanie may be Sally's new flatmate. Melanie's famous laugh does not impress Sally. Gail grovels to Gloria. They make peace with each other. Paul offers Jim contacts but Jim says he does not need any as he has been in the business for 25 years and does not need a hand out. He gets fed up of people asking how he is. Henry helps Melanie move in with Sally. Henry and Melanie start snogging, and Sally walks in and sees them.
