Synopsis[]
Des Clarke is sure that Daphne Clarke will recover from her coma. He goes to drive to the hospital but his car won't start. Katie Landers is playing in the street and sees Des has car trouble. Katie calls him "Clarky" and says everything will be alright. Des likes being alled "Clarky". He tells his mother Eileen Clarke that is what Daphne calls him, so he is sure Daphne will be alright. Tony Romeo buys Jane Harris some chocolates and they agree to remain friends as she is now dating Mike Young. Harold Bishop watches on, curious. Paul Robinson picks up Gail Robinson from the hospital. She is still frightened to get into a car. He suggests she gets another sedative. He says he will drive slowly and stick to side streets. Tony tells Charlene Robinson that he still has feelings for Jane. Paul has bought Gail home to No 22 Ramsay Street. Lucy Robinson visits her gran Helen Daniels to say she has been accepted at college but she is worried about leaving the family. Helen gets a letter from Frank Darcy to say he is coming over. Lucy is ready to leave to go to college. Todd Landers says he will miss her. Gail vows to find the 2 men who ran Daphne off the road but still cannot remember the number plate. Beverley Marshall suggests hypnosis. Jane tells Harold that her and Tony are just friends. Charlene visits Jane. Jim comes to see Helen to suggest a farewell luncheon. helen gets a call to say Frank is at the police station.
