test. He shouts across to a neighbour to try one of his pancakes. Max himself tries one and does not like it. Eileen Clarke babysits Bradley Townsend. She has a present for him but he sulks when he opens it as it is not the figurine he wants. Eileen takes Bradley to see his real father Gavin McKinley at his hotel room at The Lassiters Complex. Gavin persuades Bradley to come to live with him in Perth. Gavin says that as Andrea took Bradley out of school, she technically kidnapped him and she could go to prison for a very long time. Gavin even shows Bradley a document that says he has to live with him. Bradley agrees to go with his dad to Perth. Eileen is happy, as she feels she has offloaded Bradley from her son Des Clarke. Gavin is ready to take Bradley to see his mum Andrea Townsend to tell her that he is going to live with him in Perth. They go to the car parked outside Lasiters. Bradley gets in but Gavin gets in and locks the doors, as he has set Eileen up. Gavin drives off with Bradley in the car leaving Eileen stood by the road.

Notes

  • Final appearance of Max Ramsay. Actor Francis Bell had taken sick leave due to a bad back, and during his sick leave he decided not to return to the show, and his contract was terminated during his sick leave, so Max never got a proper farewell scene. Francis Bell was finding the filming schedule a huge grind, and he had been considering resigning for some time. His character Max's absence was explained a few episodes later as him being contacted by Maria Ramsay in Brisbane and having to quickly get a flight there to see her. Later on, Max, reconciled with Maria and got a plumbing job in Brisbane and said he would not be returning to Erinsborough. Max's brother Tom Ramsay arrived in late May 1986 to cover for Max. Actor Francis Bell died in 1994 aged 50 after falling from a building.
