Synopsis[]
It is a sad day in Ramsay Street today as Madge Bishop, the street matriarch, has her last day in Ramsay Street as she packs to leave for Brisbane. She reminisces with Lou Carpenter about when she came back to Erinsborough in 1986 and how her marriage to Fred Mitchell was a sham. She takes one last look around No 24 Ramsay Street then says goodbye to all her neighbours as the taxi is waiting. She hugs each of her neighbours, including young Hannah Martin. Madge then gets into the taxi and they all wave her off as the taxi drives off to the airport.
