Dennis Dimato was a character in Neighbours in 2015 and 2016, first appearing in Episode 7043 - 21 January 2015. He was a local businessman who offered to sponsor the Erinsborough Festival. Dennis had a bad reputation. He left in Episode 7289 - 28 January 2016. Dennis was played by David Serafin.

2015-2016[]

Dennis Dimato asked Mayor Paul Robinson to sponsor the Erinsborough Festival. Paul agreed but found Dennis had a bad reputation so backed out. Dennis later bribed Paul's assistant Naomi Canning into convincing him to reinstate his sponsership. Naomi handed the money back and later Mark Brennan found out. Matt Turner takes a second job as a security guard for Dimato but finds he is stealing cars. Dimato blackmails him into keeping quiet. Tyler Brennan gets a job working for Dimato stripping cars for parts. After Tyler steals a car with a tracking device, Dimato is arrested by Mark. After he is released, Dimato purchases the local garage and then skips bail. A few months later, Dimato returns to town and invites Tyler to a meeting with the rest of the group. Dimato picks Tyler up in his car and discards his phone. Dimato reveals his plans to start up the illegal car parts business again. Tyler tries to escape, but he is caught and Dimato orders his men to get rid of him. However, the police turn up and arrest Dimato. He is later released and hatches a plan to get revenge on Tyler and Paige Smith, with the help of Michelle Kim, who pretends to befriend Paige. In January 2016, Michelle is sick of being treated badly by Dimato and when she verbally assaults him, he slaps her, this is witnessed by Nate Kinski. Nate later attacks Dimato.
