Amira Devkar

Amira Devkar is the newly introduced sister of Haz Devkar. She is played by Maria Thattil.

Backstory[]

2024[]

Amira arrives in Erinsborough to reconnect with her brother, Haz Devkar, for the first time in years. When Amira arrived at the Erinsborough hospital, she ran into Haz’s romantic interest Mackenzie Hargreaves. Amira took an instant disliking in Mackenzie and blamed her for what happened to Haz since accidentally she hit him with a car.

Mackenzie leaves the hospital and quickly comes back. Amira and Mackenzie disagree for a brief moment before being interrupted by Haz waking up from his coma. Amira comforts her brother and bonds with him for the first time in what’s said to be years. Amira then invites Haz to join her and their parents and have a fresh start together. This causes a bit of a stir between Amira, Mackenzie, and Haz.
